For nurseries
What's in it for you
Paid work for greenhouse space you already have. Most of it lands in the quiet months, when people travel and nobody's buying bedding plants. You set the weekly rate and decide how much room to give us.
Every booking also brings a plant person through your door twice. Drop-off, then pick-up. Those are your customers.
What you earn
A typical booking is 4 small plants, 2 medium and a large one for 3 weeks. At our suggested rates ($3.00 small, $5.00 medium, $9.00 large a week) that's $93.00 to you.
For your first 6 months there's no commission, so all of it is yours. After that we keep 10% of the plant charges, $9.30 on that booking. Pick-up and return fees stay yours in full. Our service fee and the GST are added on top for the owner and never come out of your share.

About $4,030.08 a year. After your first 6 months, $302.26 a month once our 10% commission starts.
At our suggested rates, which you can change. A guide, not a promise: bookings depend on the season, and stays over 4 weeks cost less per day. Pick-up and return fees come on top.
Stays longer than 4 weeks get cheaper for the owner: from day 29 it's 70% of your rate. That's what makes a four-month winter stay affordable. Those plants mostly just need watering.
How you get paid
Owners pay us by card when they book. Once a month we send you what you've earned by Interac e-Transfer, or by cheque if you'd rather. Each payment comes with a statement, and your account keeps a running total.
You don't need a card terminal or a Stripe account. You never chase anyone for money.
The work
At drop-off, look the booking up by its code and take a photo of each plant on your phone. If something's already wrong, note it. While the plants are with you, care for them like your own stock and post a photo at least every 7 days. At pick-up, one group photo and they're gone.
Those photos protect you as much as the owner. They show exactly how a plant looked the day it came in.
What it looks like on your phone

You decide
Which sizes you take, and how much space. We never book past it. Block off closed days and holidays, or pause new bookings whenever you need to.
You can turn any plant away at drop-off. Pests, disease, or just not what was booked. The owner gets that plant's price back.
When things go wrong
If an owner cancels more than 24 hours ahead, they get a full refund and you get nothing, but you weren't holding their plants either. Late cancellations and no-shows still pay you half.
Late collection is paid. After 2 days' grace each extra day is charged at your rate, and it goes to you.
Owners can report a problem up to 7 days after pick-up. We look at your photos before deciding anything. If a plant really was harmed in your care, the owner gets a full refund and that booking comes off your next payment. Better you hear that from us now than find out later.
Getting set up
We email you an invitation. Sign in with your email (there's no password), then fill in your address, hours and rates, add a photo and tell us where to send the money. It takes one sitting. We check it over and switch you on, and owners within 25 km can book you from then on.
There's no contract and nothing to pay to join. Stop whenever you like.
